“Iron Mountain Afternoon” is part of my “On The Trail” Series which highlights cairns I have encountered during my hikes in the White Mountains. Unlike my more whimsical cairns, these are recreated from photos of actual cairns. I have tried to stay true to the colors and lovely imperfections found in nature.
